The Tour
Bandits U18
AA team fell
in
championship
game to the
Jaguars (NJ)
3-1.
In round
robin play
the Bandits
rolled to
victories
over the
Long Island
Piranhas
(NY) 6-0,
RBK Jr.
Ducks 4-0.
Great
Britain 3-1,
Canpro
(Columbia)
8-0 to
finish the
round robin
play with a
4-0 record
advancing to
the
playoffs.
The Bandits
would find
themselves
fighting to
stay alive
against a
feisty RBK
Jr. Ducks
Black (CA)
in a 2-1
game that
came down
the finals
seconds as
the Bandits
pulled off
the victory
and a earned
a spot in
the finals
against the
Jaguars. The
finals was a
great game
and was a
tribute the
goaltenders
who were
absolutely
incredible
the whole
game. With
the Bandits
down by one
goal with
just seconds
left to play
the Bandits
pulled
goalie Tyler
Fraer and
went all out
try to tie
the game
with an
extra
attacker,
but only
after a few
opportunities
the Jaguars
put in an
empty netter
to seal the
victory.
The Bandits
finished the
tournament
with a
record of
5-1 and a
silver
medal.

Defeat Tour
Mudcats
Monday,

It was a
match up
between two
Tour Teams
for the
finals of
the USARS
Men's Gold
Division
championship
in
Philadelphia,
PA. The Tour
Bandits fell
behind early
on before
coming on
strong and
defeating
the Tour
Mudcats (PA)
by a score
of 10-4.
The Tour
Bandits also
defeated
Anaheim
Ducks (CA)
in the first
round of the
playoffs to
advance to
the final.
In round
robin play
the Bandits
downed the
Canpro Team
(Columbia),
Mission
Snipers (NY)
and Mile
High Mayhem
(CO).
The Bandits
only loss in
the event
came to the
LA Pama
Cyclones
(CA).
The Bandits Pro &
Minor teams continue
their exhibition
schedule with games
againts their arch
rival the Scottdale
Inferno on November
24 starting 4:00 PM
at HotShots Sports
Arena in Mt.
Pleasant, PA.
The Bandits will be
coming off a weekend
of exhibition games
against the
Winchester Generals
and the Potomac
Mavericks before
taking on the
Inferno.
The Olympic Training
Center in Colorado
Springs was the site
for the 2008 Junior
World Team tryouts.
Bandit players Nick
Posa and Thomas
Javor both earned
spot on the
prestigious Junior
World Team that will
compete in the FIRS
Junior World
Championships being
held in Paris,
France in July 2008.
Bandits player Steve
Leibhart earned a
spot on the U18
Major Team USA as
well.
The Bandits minor
teams will hit the
road again in
November with stops
in Winchester and
Chantilly, VA. The
Bandits will play in
Winchester, VA on
Friday night
November 16th at the
Sportsplex against
the Winchester
Generals and then
travel over to
Chantilly on
Saturday 17th
night to take on the
Potomac Mavericks.
The Generals and
Mavericks are new
expansion teams to
PIHA for the 2007/08
season.
The Bandits and the
Lunatics minor teams
went at it for
several hours on
Saturday. Both
organizations using
the games to try and
get to ready for the
upcoming PIHA
Season. The
Bandits were using
these scrimmage
games to try and get
a look at some new
players. Jeremy
Lascko of Cleveland,
OH looked very
impressive in his
first appearance in
a Bandits uniform.
